The ABO GROUP was established in 1993 through privatization, and the majority share belongs to Hungarian private individuals. The company went through dynamic growth and modernization over the past years. Through acquisitions and improvement projects, it managed to extend its presence both in the Hungarian and foreign markets, as a result of which ABO GROUP has become a major enterprise in the field of grains and fodder production and milling.

In addition to the Hungarian activities, the company started operation in Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania and Serbia.

Since April 2004, the Group has been performing its activities in a divisional structure that is built on the three main priorities of the company: grain trading, milling and fodder production. The divisional management system enables the cross-border co-ordination of subsidiaries involved in similar activities and to utilize the synergies inherent in the company.
